Beautiful and cosy place where you'll feel at home

Pros: Excellent place to stay in Fes medina at a great price, in the middle of the charming Quartier des Andalous (calmer and more authentic while close to the touristic spots). The dar is run by Mehdi and his mother, who are really kind and welcoming, and will really make you feel at home. Rooms are clean and spacious, there's hot/cold AC, a lovely terrace and breakfast is amazing.

Cons: I cannot recall anything I disliked.

Pros: House Andalous is placed in the center of the old medina. The location is perfect, safe streets, surrounded by all the monuments of Fez. The vue from the terrace is surreal you see the charm of Fez and the mountains surrounding it. The place is clean, calm, you can sleep peacefully. My bed was comfortable, the shower clean and warm. Mehdi made my stay here impeccable, a respectful gentleman, he helped me with great recommendations of what to do in Fez and where to go. Very communicative, arranged a great taxi ride from and to the airport. Just perfect honestly. You can clearly see that this family business is made with the priority for care and wellbeing of the visitors. One of my best stays so far! Highly recommended.

Pros: I absolutely loved my stay at House Andalois! The room was incredibly comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. Located in a great spot within the Medina, it was the perfect base for exploring. Mehdi and his mom were amazing hosts, taking such great care of me throughout my stay. The warm welcome and the daily breakfasts were truly delightful. While the toilet is shared, it’s spotless and very well-maintained, so it wasn’t an issue at all. I would highly recommend this place to all travelers looking for a cozy, authentic experience in the Medina.

Pros: Es war ein sehr entspannter Aufenthalt, wir haben besonders die Terasse und das gute Frühstück genossen. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und das Personal sehr nett!

Cons: Wir hätten uns über Toilettenpapier gefreut. Außerdem hatten wir keinen Schlüssel für die Eingangstür und mussten den Besitzer jedes Mal anrufen, um ins Gebäude zu gelangen. Das hat auch immer gut geklappt, aber wäre mit eigenem Schlüssel entspannter gewesen.

Pros: L’esperienza è stata fantastica Mehdi e la sua mamma sono due persone eccezionali e l’accoglienza è super calorosa, Mehdi si è mostrato disponibile anche per informazioni e favori al di là del soggiorno! Il Riad è magnifico, le stanze pulite, il patio ha una luce divina e il terrazzino per la colazione è confortevole e gode di una vista sulla città. Loro sono davvero fantastiche persone e gli vogliamo bene❤️ Baci da Alice e Stefano

Pros: Tuvimos una estancia genial! El hostal está en la medina pero no en la zona más turística, lo que te hace vivir una experiencia más local. Está limpio y bien cuidado. Tiene varias terrazas con vistas a la mezquita más antigua de la ciudad. Fatiha y Medhi son encantadores. Ella prepara unos desayunos buenísimos y la última noche nos invitó a cenar tahini con ellos. Madhi nos enseñó la medina con gusto y nos acompañó a varios lugares incluido el taxi de las 6 A.M para ir al aeropuerto. Son un amor los dos. Nos sentimos en familia. Mil gracias por tanta hospitalidad. In shā’ Allāh nos veamos pronto!

Jag gillar boendet och skulle tillbaka till House Andalous om jag besöker Fez igen!

Pros: - Läget var perfekt och personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma . Mahdi var tillgänglig nästan jämt när man behövde hjälp 🫶🏽 - Frukosten var supergod ! ✅ - Rummet var stort!

Pros: L’emplacement, la propreté, la terrasse avec vue sur la médina, le petit déjeuner (excellent!!!) et enfin la gentillesse des hôtes. Merci ✨
