Riad Zitouna

A true gem - we will return!

Pros: Beautiful Riad in the centre of old Fez. Our room was exceptionally good and the staff were brilliant

Pros: The riad looks beautiful inside and after a busy day in the medina you are always happy to get back to the quiet place. Aziz took care about us very well. He is such a friendly and helping person. The breakfirst was very good . We can recommend that place. Especially because Aziz made us feel so welcomed with his great hospitality.

Pros: The staff was so welcoming. Super quiet inside the riad, we appreciated the breakfast by the swimming pool, the room was enormous and the terrasse was great ! They also gave us local recommendations

Very relaxing place to stay and unwind.

Pros: Excellent location right in the heart of Fes. Very clean and very helpful staff. Quiet retreat which provided a great place to relax after a hot time exploring the Medina. No complaints at all - would recommend others to consider staying there.

Cons: Nothing. We had a lovely tme there.

Pros: Breakfast a big highlight here, as was the pool (especially if you time if for the sun being right above the courtyard. Room was massive and nicely set out. Great location overall (particularly in the day), with easy access to great markets.

Cons: Wasn't the easiest location to find and wasn't ideal coming back to at night once the medina is quite dark.

very quiet and peaceful stay

Pros: Very kind and helpful staff. We got lost at arrival in the Medina in the dark and Mohammed from the Riad picked us up and guided us to his Riad! the Rias is quiet and centrally located to all main attractions. Breakfast is great!

Excellent place to stay with a wonderful team, but some room shortcomings

Pros: The staff were outstanding! Welcoming and hospitable, caring and eager to help. This was the main gem of the Riad! Also, the building and courtyard are beautifully decorated and cosy and quiet. The Riad is centrally located in the Medina.

Cons: There were a few things that could be improved in terms of room comfort. The beds/mattresses could be better and firmer. Bathrooms were quite uncomfortable with tiny mirrors and sinks. Overall, the room and bathroom lacked lamps / lighting dramatically - it was very dark.

Pros: Very original location in the heart of the medina. Very professional staff, Mohamed was of great help.

Cons: Access to rooms might be difficult for some. Narrow stairs.

Pros: Riad Zitouna is located in the medina, which I what I wanted, for a more authentic experience. It might be a bit daunting to find your way around at first, but it gets easier every time you step out. Mohamed is a very attentive and welcoming host, he couldn't do enough to ensure that we were satisfied with our stay. Thank you very much for looking after us Mohamed!

Pros: We really liked the design of the renovated riad, felt authentic Our room was spacious and silent, we could sleep well. Bed is big. Room was cleaned every day. Special thanks to Mohamed, his exceptional care and nonstop availability for us during our stay.

Cons: Maybe the pool and area could have been cleaned more. There were constantly bees and other bugs drowning.
