Magical stay up in the mountains

Pros: Ibrahim and his family truly created a magical space in the mountains of Ourika valley. Ibrahim is full of stories of the past and plans for the future, it was a pleasure to meet him. The food is absolutely delicious and the hometsay is very cosy decorated. It is not for luxury tourism, but if you like authenticity and want to escape reality for a while, this place is for you!

Amazing getaway - a friendly, peaceful and beautiful place that I wouldn't hesitate to come back to

Pros: Amlougui House was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Morocco! Do yourself a favour and make a visit here! The village is so beautiful and peaceful, and not another tourist in sight. Ibrahim and his family were incredibly sweet and accommodating - we also had really insightful chats with Ibrahim about society, Amazigh culture and history, and how fast the world is moving these days. Myself and my friend are vegan but were not expecting any special foods, just enough to get us by, and we got provided a delicious vegetable tagine and other foods in dinner as well as avocado (from the valley!) and jams with bread at breakfast, we really appreciated all the food thank you! The guesthouse is nicely decorated, very clean, and with a stunning view. Ibrahim was an excellent guide hiking with us up in the mountains and taking us two a few wonderful local spots.

Unglaublich!

Pros: Wunderbares Gästehaus fernab von jeglichem Trubel, perfekt für die Stadtflucht nach Marrakech. Unglaublich herzliche Familie, köstliches Essen, geschmackvolle Gäste-Etage mit 3 Zimmern & gemütlichem Wohnzimmer, Balkon. Für uns ein absolutes Highlight unserer Rundreise! Wir wurden von Ibrahim vorab des Ortes abgeholt und er begleitete uns, damit wir uns nicht verfahren können. Absolut freundliche Bewohner im Ort, die uns zuwinken & auf eine Tasse Tee bei ihnen zuhause einladen

Séjour dépaysant dans un très beau lieu

Pros: - la gentillesse de Ibrahim et Hassan - le lieu authentique dans un cadre magnifique - les repas du soir

Cons: Le prix des activités randonné (4h sans repas) et journée 4x4 : beau mais prix excessif par rapport à la durée

Nur zu empfehlen für alle, die sich für die Kultur der Berber interessieren!

Pros: Angenehme Abwechslung zu den vielen Touristenfallen, liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Eigentümer Ibrahim, der sehr gut englisch und französisch spricht, gibt einem unvergleichliche Einblicke in das Leben der Berber und hat hier ein modernes, nachhaltiges Gasthaus geschaffen, in der man auch echte marokkanische Küche vorgesetzt bekommt. Man kann auch kleine Wanderungen oder mehrtägige Treks bei ihm buchen.

Gewoon geweldig!!!

Pros: Zalig verblijf gehad hier! Ibrahim (de uitbater) is fantastisch. Hij ontvangt je goed en is enorm behulpzaam. Hebben ook een wandeling geboekt met hem. Hij is dan je gids voor de dag in de bergen en dit is echt wel de moeite waard. Alle faciliteiten zijn ook in orde. Het eten 's avonds is door zijn mama gemaakt en is super lekker. Het hotel ligt wat afgelegen, maar echt de moeite waard. Het bevindt zich in een klein dorpje en de mensen zijn er super vriendelijk. Je bevind je ook midden in de Atlas gebergten. Het uitzicht op het terras en tijdens het ontbijt is dus gewoon prachtig!

Cons: Niets!

In Doar Amlough ist noch das einfache Berberleben erfahrbar. Etwas für bewusste Reisende, die gerne zu sich in die Ruhe

Pros: wunderschöne Lage inmitten des Dorfes, herzlich geführt, man darf sich hier richtig zu Hause fühlen

Un souvenir inoubliable

Pros: De loin le meilleur logement que nous avons eu au Maroc. Situé dans le petit village d'Amlougui (sans accès direct par la route), la Amlougui House est un havre de paix au milieu de la montagne, cosy, super bien aménagé, on aurait aimé y rester plus longtemps !
