Pros: Very central location, cozy room, friendly host and great traditional Moroccan breakfast

Pros: Great location, the staff were great and very help full, near tourist attraction, near shops and places to eat, 5 km from Ancient Roman settlement of Volubilis a great place to go for a few hours, Breakfast was great, and got a meal when coming back from taking sunset shots ....

Cons: Leaving ....

Comfortable place to stay. Hostess very kind and helpful.

Pros: enjoyed the roof top terrace overlooking the town square. Meal prepared the first night was delicious. Room was very comfortable. The Dar was a good walk down to the central square and made it easy to get around. The hostess was exceptional and did everything possible to be of assistance.

Cons: Washroom was a very narrow wet bath where the shower water did not drain well leaving the floor by the toilet wet for several hours. There was no heat in the room and it was very cold in the evening.. Transportation to the Dar and back was by taxi from Meknes. The local bus is crowded and can't be used if you have a suitcase.

Lovely Stay!

Pros: A little palace that celebrates the beauty of Moroccan architecture. Each corner and piece of furniture is a designed with Historical thoughts. Lovely staff and town!

Pros: Very nice hostel in Moulay Idrissi. Roof terrace is amazing, beautiful view on the mountains and the village. Host is very kind, though she speaks only Arabic, we used Google translate. She made a nice dinner for us. Rooms are awesome and very good looking, as is the whole hostel. Very clean as well.

Cons: When you're on the main square of Moulay, you'll have to go up the stairs in the middle of the square and turn right and walk all the street and there you'll find the Dar Ines. We had a little trouble finding it.

Pros: This place is like a museum in positive meaning. Hundred of old, original artefacts from doors to window frames. You simply don't know where to look. Lots of craftsmen skills examples everywhere. If you are lucky enough to stay in the front room, the best view possible.

Cons: Property wise - nothing . Place is perfect to every detail. 11/10 Idriss however is a shame to Morocco 😞 In comparison to other places of significant importance its simply .... dirty. Shame on you Council, clean your gem and you can easily compete with Chefchuan.

Pros: The location was amazing, authentic traditional interior, very friendly staff, I easily felt at home. The view from the terrace is breathtaking with the medina on one side and Volubilis on the other, well furnished.

Cons: I got one of the small rooms so the bathroom was a bit small but it's not a big deal just a small inconvenience.

Pros: Excellent authentic Moroccan Dar very beautiful with all details and decorations. very quiet ،bohemian،and romantic. great for couples or Family with children. I do prefer to stay in Dar Ines(Moulay Idress) to visit Mekenes and around and not the opposite.Nice village with nice authentic Moroccan culture no one disturb and best quality of food.highly recommended.
