We had an incredible time here and would love to return someday.
Pros: The decor and style of the rooms and Riad in general were amazing. Because the room we booked initially was not available, we got offered a free upgrade and it felt like we were staying in a museum. It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay, we very much enjoyed the time there and the hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful.

For people who enjoy Riads or Dars
Pros: They have a heater in the bathroom which is good for winter days. Their dinner is generous and good value for money. Located in the middle of Medina and higher floor rooms have nice view of Medina.
Cons: As with many Riads inside Medinas, as in Rabat and Tanger etc, guests need to manage getting their luggage to the hotel door from Medina gates. And getting up to and down from higher floor rooms. Not an easy thing in winter in rain in dark and in narrow lanes. Shower water flow is near miserable. This is an issue with many similar Riads in the country. Can be quite frustrating for guests. Water or energy saving should not victimise hotel guests.

Outstanding local hospitality in stunning Riad
Pros: Quiet location yet within 10 mins walk to the medina- a peaceful, calm and soothing oasis in the midst of the chaotic daily life in the old city, the moment we stepped inside we felt all the tranquility and sense of serenity washing over us
Cons: We stayed there over two spells - first 3 nights in Fes , then a 2 night stay in Chefchaouen and a final 2 night return stay in Fes First spell was in the room with balcony on the 4th floor with no elevator which is normal in these centuries old Riads, but it was a workout that we could have done without after a day of walking and exploring!

An oasis among the mayhem of the Medina!
Pros: Quiet location but within reasonable walking easy distance to Medina
Cons: The climb up the stairs to get to the higher floors!

Very beautiful
Pros: Our room felt like a palace or a museum of Moroccan architecture and design. The ceiling was stunning, and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, due to the traditional structure of the riad, it was a bit dark, as the windows face the internal courtyard. The hosts were friendly and polite. Our double bed was large and very comfortable. Both the riad and our room were exceptionally clean. It was also very quiet. The location is convenient—not in the center of the medina, but just about a 10-minute walk from it. The riad is also relatively close to the main medina parking area (about 7–10 minutes on foot).
Cons: Breakfast (for additional charge) is offered in a room, which I as understood, is not enough to welcome all the guests if they want to eat at the same time. Also breakfast time was quite late (9 am). WiFi was available but was not very strong (interruptions during video calls).

A wonderful experience of Fez and its people.
Pros: The property was beautifully restored with significant attention given to every detail. The location of the property was just within the boarder of the Medina which made arrival and departure, as well as going beyond the Medina, easy as the Medina is large and complex. The service provided was impeccable from arrival when a staff member had to come and find us in the Medina, to departure where pick up from the property was arranged for us. Breakfast was all you could ask for and more. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony giving us a spectacular view over Fez. We chose our room because it offered the balcony but the trade off was a comfortable but compact room and bathroom. Thank you to Karina and Moohna for your care and for making us feel welcome.

Wonderful
Pros: The property is amazing. It is an authentic location which maintains the taste of old times with raffinate flavour. The suite with terrace is magnificent , never seen something like that before. The staff is very kind and helpful, we spent three days with my family, and we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
Cons: The authenticity and the elegance

A gem in Fes
Pros: This is a truly special place, it is so beautifully done, the place feels like a palace, and yet so comfy and welcoming. The riad is absolutely stunning, so many beautiful little details and so much love has gone into making it what it is. It's a close (5 mins) walk to the centre of the medina, but so quiet at night. The other thing that makes this place so amazing is the people, Karima is an absolute star, she made me feel so at home and was a fountain of knowledge and advice about fes. She went out of her way to be the perfect host. Also, big shout out to Yaseen, who was an excellent tour guide, definitely ask for him if you book any tours. When I come back to fes, I'll be staying here again!
Cons: Nothing, i loved it. Only thing to consider is that as it is a riad, no lift, so that might impact people, but I appreciated the work out!

Beautiful Building, Good Location
Pros: The building was beautiful. The location allowed for a great view from the roof terrace and was close enough to the main streets of the medina without being too close to the hustle and bustle. Karima was very attentive.

Breathtaking traditional riad in the old medina.
Pros: Wonderful Riad, full of art and beauty , few rooms, very welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast and dinner. If possible reserve one of the suites, they are breathtaking. Unfortunately they were not available during our stay, we got a modern room on the upper floor that you reach via steep stairs, but the advantage was that it has a balcony and it’s close to the rooftop terrace, and in the morning you can hear the children singing in the nearby school, it was a delight.
