Authentic, beautiful, and incredibly hospitable.

Pros: We stayed five nights here in January and absolutely loved the atmosphere of this riad. The inner courtyard is beautiful, authentic and full of traditional details, and it’s also where you enjoy breakfast and dinner which makes it feel very special. We booked a suite and it was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. Breakfast was excellent and varied every day, and the dinner was more expensive than eating outside, but the quality was clearly higher and the dishes were top level. The excursions arranged by the riad were also fantastic: the Medina tour was the highlight of our trip thanks to an amazing guide and driver, the Meknes tour was a great way to see the countryside, the hammam experience was seamless with pick-up and drop-off, and the cooking class was unforgettable. Learning from real Moroccan “nonnas” was fun, well explained, and the food we made was incredible.

Cons: Honestly, not much. The only small note is that dinner is pricier compared to restaurants outside the riad, but the quality and overall experience make it worth it.

Beautiful and clean

Pros: It seems that this Riad has been remodeled while conserving Moroccan style, because everything seemed new and very clean. It is a really beautiful Riad (and we can compare with some others). It is conveniently located so you can easily access both inside and outside of Medina, it is super close to the Blue gates and the main shopping street while situated in a calm street so we had a very good sleep. We liked the breakfast and our room as well. People who run it are very nice and helpful. As well, if you need a guide or a taxi they can arrange everything for you. We had everything booked in advance but just to know that there is such option. Recommended !

Pros: Beautiful authentic hotel with a centuries-old history. Everything is designed to perfection. The staff is very friendly.

Cons: Since it’s an authentic hotel, the room facilities are a bit more traditional

Pros: The property is beautiful and a very hospitable stay. Everything from check in to breakfast and everything in between was perfect. The host was excellent and spent time with us which was great and to learn more about Fes and local culture. Thank you!

Pefect location in Fez

Pros: We had the best stay at Riad Moulaydriss et Giacomo. The staff and Batoul in particular took excellent care of us. The breakfast was lovely, the rooms were comfy and the Riad is stunning. Excellent location!

I enjoyed my stay very much and would recommend the riad.

Pros: Beautiful riad, very well located for exploring the medina but also easy to grab a taxi, get cash, from the main street. Lots of restaurants around. Batoul was amazing, very helpful.

Cons: All the tours available through the riad were unnecessarily expensive (private tours only), the dinner options were all set menu, again very expensive.
