Joyful, warm and welcoming stay in a beautiful setting

Pros: The staff of this Riad are like a family and feel very welcome. In particular a shout out to Hassan who made friends with our sons and was very friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is excellent.

Cons: The hot water / shower stopped working but to their credit they responded very quickly and resolved it.

Lovely little riad, great location and service

Pros: The location inside the medina, close to the Blue Gate, restaurants, taxis, tour pick ups, cash machine, etc but also within walking distance of the depths of the medina (tannery, mausoleum, madrassa, etc). It's very easy to find once you get your head around its location within the medina. Very friendly and accommodating staff, always eager to help. Beautiful riad with different areas at different levels to just sit and relax, listening to the water fountain that sits at the centre of one of the courtyards. It also has a lovely roof terrace where breakfast is served every morning. Our room was on the 1st floor and had a lovely balcony overlooking the main courtyard. Courtesy water, dates and nuts awaited our arrival. Breakfast was limited to a traditional Moroccan but it was still nice.

Cons: Nothing really. I've seen bad reviews regarding stairs. I agree the stairs were a bit steep to navigate at times, but every building I entered in Fez was the same or even worse. For me, it only added to its authenticity and charm.

Pros: Beautiful interior decor and very well appointed rooms. Lovely place to have a mint tea. Very welcoming staff.

Cons: Rooftop was closed for renovations It was my 50th birthday but the hotel did nothing extra for me 😞 although they did help transfer baggage to our new Riad which was extremely helpful.

A most enjoyable one!

Pros: Very pleasing to the eye, traditional with a touch of class. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, always smiling and prompt to meet every request.

Cons: The value for the money of the extras, food and beverage, does not compare with what you can find around town.

Pros: The location in the Medina was superb and the rooms/interior were very beautiful. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful from organizing drivers to helping you find your way in the Medina!

Really lovely Riad, and lovely helpful staff

Pros: Really charming Riad, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. I hope one day I can return. I can't speak for other options in Fez, but I can say I am more than happy to recommend this one, stay here you won't be disappointed.
