Pros: The hotel is located on a quiet side street, right next to the medina walls. The riad's decor is atmospheric. Guests have access to a small garden and terrace. The room was spacious, comfortable and (in my case) clean. I must say, I felt somewhat at home during those four days. The bathroom has everything I need, but due to the age and construction of the building, it's tiny and difficult to arrange. Guests can use the large, fully equipped kitchen. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can even borrow a hairdryer from them (which I really appreciate, as most hotels in Morocco don't offer this). If I return to Fes, I will definitely want to stay there again.
Cons: The only real inconvenience is the oddly designed bathroom (which I understand and find acceptable, considering the building's age). It could use a little renovation. It's important to remember that this is a riad, so the windows overlook the common area and hallway. Opening them is also a bad idea, as they completely expose your room to the rest of the guests. This restricts airflow.

Amazing location, sweet owner
Pros: We had the most amazing time here, felt literally like at home. There is a kitchen, kettle and fridge that guests can use which is great. Washing machine is available to use too, there isn’t a fixed price but you can leave a tip. The room was comfortable, bathroom small but okay for a few nights.
Cons: It was a little bit hard to find it. If you follow Google map, arrive at the door where it says 12/15 and turn in the little alley on the left. The entrance is right in front of you. Also another small note, the blind in the room was a little bit see through, we had to place a towel to make sure no one was looking inside but apart from that it was an amazing stay.

Quiet option on the edge of the Medina
Pros: Everyone was friendly and accommodating and I was offered pots of tea with cakes or biscuits at any time. The tea was great! My room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Close to the souks, two small cafes and an ATM at the post office.
Cons: It was very hard to find and there are no signs anywhere. Luckily a local man was able to show me the entrance or I'd still be looking!

Very pleasant.
Pros: The lady running the show was excellent - very kind and helpful although the language barrier was a problem. I don't speak French or Arabic.
Cons: Unattended parts of the day.
