Riad Shama Fes

Hospitality of staff, location, value of money, very good WiFi connection, quiet, comfortable bed with tv and A/C.

Pros: Hassan such a great staff helped me throughout of my stay and speaks perfect English. I highly recommend this Riad, slept very comfortably, spacious and it’s quite not noisy at all. The value is very good and fantastic location closing distance to Medina. Shower has great pressure and great to have hair dryer too. WiFi signal is very good unlike other Riad I have stayed whilst travelling across Morocco. Everything you need they have it.

Cons: I don’t have nothing negative to say to me it was 9/10.

Good value for money. Very close to the Medina!

Pros: The guy at the reception is very friendly and nice. He waked up at 1.30 am to welcome us and has been supportive through all our stay. The breakfast is good and the facility in general is fine. Good position, 8 minutes walking to the Blue gate, which is one of the entrances to the Medina. Good value for money.

Cons: The decor of the building is very nice, however our room's door was broken and didn't work properly making impossible to lock it from the inside. The bathroom is small, which complicates the movement around and the entrance to the shower, but it's the average size of Moroccan facilities toilets. The room, as well as the building in general tends to be cold and the heater system in the room is not really effective.

Small riad in fantastic location

Pros: Great spot in the medina, just a short walk to all the main attractions. The rooms are warm and clean, and the young manager is super friendly and helpful. Plus, there’s a heater in the room, which is a lifesaver in December!

Pros: Absolutely beautiful riad with stunning authentic design, an extremely comfortable bed, and a perfect location. The staff, Hassan, was iincredibly helpful, kind, and professional. We truly loved our stay and would 100% recommend this place!

Cons: .The lock was a bit worn and sometimes harder to open or close, but I was able to figure it out without much trouble. The air conditioning needed some time to properly warm the room, which seems to be a common issue in many places in Morocco.
