Riad Yacout

Central location. Excellent rooms.

Pros: Property is located in absolutely heart of town. You step inside and you are transferred to a different world altogether. Rooms are nice, bed comfortable, toilets & bathroom were good in size and had all necessary amenities. You can walk down to shopping areas or other restaurants. Breakfast was very good.

Cons: Restaurant had very few options so we opted to eat dinner outside. There is no lift/elevator so had to carry luggage up steep stairs. No other negative thing.

Atmospheric riad in great location with great service

Pros: Location, very big comfortable bed, lovely staff and tastefully decorated and furnished riad. Plentiful breakfast and nice restaurant.

Cons: Poor TV signal, time taken for water to get hot and no steam in the hamman!

Lovely riad, friendly staff.

Pros: Staff very welcoming and helpful. Decor is very nice.

Cons: Hot water was a bit temperamental in the shower.

A stunningly beautiful riad with a great breakfast and delightful kind staff

Pros: The decor, the architecture was so beautiful, the location was convenient and central - the staff were really courteous

Cons: We struggled with getting a consistent shower temperature - because of the use of a water pump on one of the pipes - temperature would alternate between ice cold and scalding - on occassion I resorted to a towel bath. Whilst this was not part of the riad - I must caution people to be wary of the nearby hat arcade where one of the sellers pressured us into following him into a local carpet store where we were subject to heavy pressure sales tactics

Great Riad - but bring earplugs!

Pros: Very welcoming, wow factor in decor everywhere. Fantastic location for the medina and easy parking. Fantastic food & staff.

Cons: Like all old riads the soundproofing is totally lacking. During our visit a large family group occupied most of the other rooms and had no care for noise disruptions to other guests - running and shouting children before sunrise and late at night.

Warm welcome with terrific staff

Pros: From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed and treated to mint tea. We decided to go to a winery which we could not contact ourselves. Asmae arranged everything, contacting the winery and arranging the taxi. She was wonderful. We were also well looked after by Achraf who was waiting for us on our return and looked after us at breakfast. The Riad is located outside the Medina and well placed for visiting. Hopefully we will return on our next trip to Meknes.

Great riad in the center of Meknes

Pros: Great location in the heart of Meknes, near the Medina and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. Nice pool to take a soak in on a hot day.

Cons: The bathroom was clean and had everything you need, but was a little basic.

Pros: Fantastic interior and very nice staff, we also had dinner here and it was great. Location is just perfect for seeing the major places in Meknes

Pleasant stay at Riad Yacout

Pros: We had a pleasant stay. The small rooftop pool was very welcome and refreshing during the hot summer days. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons: The holder for the handheld shower in the bathroom was broken (Sherazade Room). This needs to be repaired, and the bathroom door scraped against the floor. These were small details but easy to fix. Perhaps this can be brought to attention. Tip: more variety for breakfast over the days.

Lovely stay in Rabat

Pros: The palace of the Riad D´Or is a beauty itself, only by walking in you are already in a special place. The breakfast was very generous and tasty. The team of the Riad extremely gentle, welcoming and ready to help. The Hammam in the Riad is also a special feature if you want to relax on your trip, practical tip inside the Riad
