Nice, quiet views near Ait Benhaddou

Pros: Nide quiet location, but involves a short walk from the main road along an uneven path. There is someone to help with the luggage though. Beautiful views from the terrace. The kasbah and rooms are nicely decorated but the rooms need some TLC and could do with some more light. Good heating in winter and we were warm.

Cons: Shower pressure was terrible and no hot water for a while in the morning. Rooms need some TLC.

Lovely people, surroundings and food

Pros: Beautiful surroundings and decor, not perfect but real, cozy, colourful and interesting. Hosts are lovely humans who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant, views are fab. It is nice to be treated as humans rather than a ATM as is common in tourist areas.

Cons: Nothing, it was fab. But don’t expect it to be a commercial hotel, everything isn’t manufactured in china, walkway to the hotel is rough, and they are real people and belongings which have had a life. We like that, but if you want no inconveniences at all, it’s not the place for you.

Pros: Excellent place just outside all touristic buzz around Ait Ben Haddou. The hosts are both extremely friendly and the best I have ever met. You feel the passion and efforts the moment you enter the place. An amazing place full of passion and art.

Pros: The hosts were incredibly generous, sincere, kind and dedicated. The house is beautiful and authentic. The food was nice and perfect service.

Perfect stay, fabulous hosts.

Pros: Fabulous welcome from the family hosts who went over and above to welcome us. On arrival they gave us a hot drink before making us a fabulous meal despite the late hour of our arrival. It almost felt we were part of the family! Beautiful clean room, very spacious. Air conditioned in a fantastic building dating back 500 years - beautifully restored. Very quiet location close to Ait Benhaddou, with safe off-road parking.

Cons: There is nothing I didn't like, the stay was perfect.

Fantastic stay

Pros: The 400-year old kasbah was stunning and beautifully decorated with one of the owner's paintings, who is an artist. Our room's balcony had a fantastic view of the mountains. The brothers who run the kasbah are very friendly, warm and welcoming. The place, located in the middle of a village, is one of a kind. I would have liked to stay longer.

Cons: The breakfast was on a beautiful terrace but could have been a bit better, e.g with fruits and eggs

Like staying with family

Pros: I've never received such warm hospitality anywhere I've stayed. Ahmed & his brother made it feel like we were staying with family. The Kasbah is beautiful, the breakfast & the food were delightful. I'd highly recommend
