Pros: Mehdi was an excellent host—very helpful and always available when we needed anything. The location is perfect, right next to the Medina, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was especially spacious. We would definitely recommend staying here.
Cons: Everything was great.

Lovely riad with lovely staff
Pros: Riad Saphiryad can be found in a quiet but convenient corner of the medina. Located in a beautifully traditional Moroccan building, the riad was clean and comfortable (though Moroccan mattresses seem to be a little too hard for our European backs!). The staff was extremely helpful - Mehdi went above and beyond, picking us up from the main road on our late arrival, preparing two takeaway breakfasts for us on our travel days, booked taxis and communicated typical taxi fares for tourists so we had a useful reference. He was also reachable via WhatsApp even late in the evening. As it was a quiet week for the riad, he even gave us flexibility to choose our preferred room on arrival. Breakfast was sufficient though some more fresh items (e.g. fruit) would have been a great addition.

Great value, great location, authentic accommodation, genuinely warm and friendly staff.
Pros: I had a fabulous stay at Saphiryad. A last-minute opportunity came up to visit Morocco and with a great value flight booked, Saphiryad was available and new to booking.com, offering the authentic Moroccan experience I was looking for and in the right location. It didn’t disappoint, offering a beautifully presented bedroom with all the facilities. Really friendly staff making sure I had everything I needed. Before heading out the following morning to check out what Fes/Fez has to offer, I had a super breakfast - Natural Yoghurt, fresh fruit and a few cups of Moroccan strength coffee which set me up for the day ahead.
Cons: A quick call to the manager (Fatem Zahra – excuse the spelling mistake if incorrect!) and the hand soap that was running low was immediately replenished.

Thank You for An Unforgettable Stay in the Heart of Fes!
Pros: This Riad was amazing—super well located in the heart of the medina. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful, offering great tips and guidance throughout our stay. We even met the owner one morning, who was so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was authentic, peaceful, and full of charm. No complaints at all—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Il riad é molto accogliente, in una zona comoda per l’ingresso nella Medina. Colazione top ogni mattina e lo staff super
Pros: La disponibilità dello staff (Medhi) che ci ha aiutato moltissimo per un problema con la compagnia aerea. Anche la colazione, abbondante e saporita, ogni giorno con qualcosa di diverso.
Cons: Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con la doccia che perdeva, ma per il resto tutto ok!

ECCELLENTE!
Pros: La camera matrimoniale era molto spaziosa, ben curata e pulita. Il bagno è accessoriato di bidet (cosa che per noi italiani è fondamentale!) Madhi (spero di aver scritto bene il suo nome) è venuto incontro ad ogni nostra richiesta (e, devo ammettere, sono state tante!): dalla colazione al sacco, alla richiesta di taxi agli orari più assurdi, alla stampa dei nostri boarding pass ecc ecc; è sempre stato presente e si è fatto trovare sveglio anche l'ultima notte, prima di prendere l'aereo, con i sacchetti della colazione pronti alle 2:30 del mattino, accompagnandoci direttamente al taxi. Una persona veramente adorabile e disponibile, che ha reso eccellente il nostro pernottamento a Fès.
Cons: Il quartiere non è dei migliori, fuori dalla Medina, che si può raggiungere solo da vicoli stretti e mal frequentati; più lunga ma decisamente migliore la strada principale che costeggia le mura della città, fino ad arrivare a Bab Boujiloud, la porta della Medina (22 minuti e strada in salita). Consigliabile l'utilizzo di taxi, chiamati direttamente dalla struttura.

Increíble estancia!
Pros: Una estancia perfecta! Las instalaciones y decoración muy cuidadas. Te hacen sentir como en casa, el trato del personal es magnífico. Su ubicación es perfecta para visitar la bonita ciudad de Fez. Sin duda repetiremos!
Cons: Todo fue perfecto, ninguna queja.
