Pros: Lovely restaurant and very kind, helpful host.. Lovely sunny terrace, bright and colourful. Location was very good for a one night stay close to the grand taxis stand.

Cons: Room was spacious and a comfy bed, but a bit gloomy. Other rooms were brighter though. It was a very fair 2 star hotel.

Pros: The staff were great and very welcoming. The location is excellent, and the room was nice and warm.

Cons: A few things could be improved: the staff could ask in advance what time you want your breakfast, as I had to wait about 30 minutes after arriving. Also, I wasn’t sure about the parking — I don’t know if it wasn’t mentioned on the booking or if I missed it — and had to pay 20 dirhams for the whole day, which is cheap but worth mentioning. Finally, the instructions on how to reach the hotel could have been a bit clearer.

Pros: The lads were so friendly and welcoming. It is located close to where the grand taxi arrives.

Pros: You certainly can't fault the welcome and hospitality of this hotel. We enjoyed our evening meal, and breakfast was incredibly generous and very tasty.

Cons: I think our room was still being renovated as it was a bit unfinished. We had a bed and a hot water shower, which was fine for us but maybe not for others. I'm sure they will finish things soon and it will be a beautiful room. The exterior AC machine of the room above was very noisy and needs a service.

Haven of peace in hectic and chaotic town

Pros: We were welcomed very well and check in was very smooth. Our host was kind and accommodating. After a long drive it was very nice to be in the spacious and pleasant room. Breakfast was lovely.

Cons: Moulay Idriss itself was quite intense with a lot of dirt and rubbish everywhere. We walked up the hill and met some lovely local kids that showed us around and guided us back to the centre through little backways. Because the town was so intense, our room at Diyar Timnay felt like a haven of peace. So nothing to say that wasn't good about the accommodation.

Pros: The house is very very big, super clean and very modern. It has 2 floors each with a living room. It has two bathrooms for greater comfort and 3 bedrooms (one even themed for children). All rooms have heating so the climate inside the house is ideal. It really is an incredible place to be able to rest and even be able to work remotely and take advantage of getting to know the beautiful city of Fez.

For the price do not expect a 5* hotel, you are not paying 5* prices but you do get a 5* service and welcome.

Pros: Hamza (the owner) is an excellent host as are the rest of his staff. Helpful, forward thinking and so obliging. They could not do enough for us. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy car parking a couple of minutes away and an open air market and many restaurants very close by within a 3 minute walk. The rooms have been newly upgraded and the restaurant is ideal. The breakfast is one of the best we have had and for the price do not expect a 5* hotel, you are not paying 5* prices but you do get a 5* service and welcome.

Cons: Absolutely nothing apart from not staying longer.

Pros: Aziz went out of his way to make us feel at home. Lovely breakfast. Aziz even got up extra early so we could get to Volubilis very early. Immaculately clean bedroom and bathroom. Excellent location. Perfect place.

Pros: Traditional hotel. Management very helpful and friendly. Looked after us very well. Price was very competitive. Views from terrace is nice Breakfast is plenty and their tea is delicious. Please note that parking is away from the premises but safe.
