A quiet spot inside the Medina to soak up the atmosphere

Pros: The owner and her young lady helper were friendly and very helpful. They made an effort for breakfast. The verandah upstairs for breakfast was very nice. It was very quiet at night, amazing being inside the Medina.

Cons: The bedroom was downstairs and bathroom upstairs. The bed was on the small side. The path to the entrance had a very narrow area, so I had to turn my bag side on to get it through. The Medina closes off different areas at 6pm, so you can't follow google maps to find your way, and it's an absolute maze for the uninitiated.

Beautiful riad and lovely host.

Pros: Beautiful riad and lovely host. She made us very welcome and served us a tasty breakfast. The girl came to meet us from our taxi at Place Rcif otherwise we may not have found it! Comfortable room and beds and lovely rooftop area but in February we did not have breakfast there.

Cons: It is situated in the very old and local part of the medina, which was fascinating to be in with the locals. It is not in the tourist area, which we liked but not everyone may do. It is a rabbit warren of alleyways. We didn’t have a guide which was fine for us using google maps but it did loose itself a few times finding our way back. The alley to the riad is a dead end and very very narrow. We had to be careful where we walked as there are a lot of wild cats in Fes Medina, everywhere, and there is cat poo on the streets. Most places clean it up, as did our host, but need to look where you walk…!

Pros: Excellent location within the Medina and the staff could not have been more gracious. I had dinner twice at the Riad and the food was home cooked and excellent each time. Breakfast was also substantial and more than enough to set you up for the day. I really enjoyed my stay, my room had immediate access to the roof terrace which was very pleasant during morning and evening hours, although chilly in December.

Cons: The entrance to the Riad is on a very narrow path way which may be uncomfortable for some. As with everywhere in Morocco, cats seem to rule the roost in Fez too. Many of them using said narrow path as their main bathroom. Getting into and out of the house without stepping something is a game of chance. Absolutely doable but watch where you step.

Hidden Gem full of love.

Pros: This Riad is a little hidden gem! The interior of the Riad is stunning with original features - like going back in time. Fatima will help you find it the first time until you get your orientation. I came on a solo trip and Fatima made me feel like I was not alone. She gave her personal recommendations for the area and nothing was too much trouble. I was able to leave possessions with her as I went off to the mountains and returned. When I returned it felt like coming home to family 🥰

Pros: The room was comfortable and beautiful The breakfast was nice and complete, with a lot of jams to try. The staff brought us tea everyday which was super nice. The wifi worked well as there's multiple to pick from.

Cons: Getting to the riad is hilarious as you go down a very narrow alleyway. Finding your way back to the medina was always an adventure. The riad has a pool but don't expect to go into it, it's tiny. It was quite noisy in the room as the doors and windows are thin. We were staying near the breakfast table meaning that anyone eating was quite loud in the room. We had medication that had to be refrigerated and communicated that multiple times in advance; when we got there the fridge wasn't working, which was disappointing. However we eventually managed to fix it.

Cost stay in fes

Pros: The riad is hidden in between two narrow buildings. From the outside you wouldn’t think that there would be a riad inside and you are welcomed with a relaxing atmosphere. There is a rooftop terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner and has a lovely view. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Fatima and her daughter were absolutely great. They are the friendliest of people who are more than happy to help you with anything you need and will advise you on how to best handle all the scammers and the Medina. We had a fantastic stay and hope to see Fatima soon again!

Cons: Fatima will send someone to pick you up and to take you to the riad. Please wait for this person or else it is very likely that you wille be scammed by the locals. They will tell that they will take you to the riad for free but will give you a tour around the city instead and will expect to be paid a lot of money. Please don’t make the same mistake we made. Fatima will text you and wait for that person to arrive. Then all will be fine! We enjoyed our stay nevertheless :)

Excellent accommodation, very friendly hosts!

Pros: This Riad exceeded our expectations - great location, very generous and tasty breakfast, but most importantly, hospitality of staff. Fatima was most welcoming and we enjoyed talking to her about Fez and its history. She presented us with traditional Moroccan tea and sweets upon our arrival, and we immediately felt ourselves at home. Amira was cooking and serving us most delicious and extended breakfast which we loved. All in all we felt very welcome and well looked after. Fatima and Amira went an extra mile to make us feel SPECIAL. We spent beautiful time in this riad, enjoyed panoramic view from the terras where the breakfast was served. The towels were changed every day, the bedlinen also very often. We will definitely come back here again!

Cons: Everything was perfect

A little hidden haven

Pros: A very charming little Riad. The Hosts could not do enough and the breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Very comfy bed and great hot water. The entrance was surprising and luckily we were met from our taxi otherwise we wouldn't have found it.

Cons: Not a 'didn't you like,' for us ,but note to others... we were given an upgrade which we thought would be a larger room but in actuality was 2 floors with an extra bed on the top floor and the bathroom. So you had to go upstairs to the bathroom... could be a problem to some.

A small and friendly riad in the midst of the Fez medina.

Pros: Fatima and her staff were really helpful. Breakfast was extensive on the roof terrace, albeit a bit chilly in February. We loved the quirky entrance which is an alley barely wide enough to walk down.

Cons: We had the smallest of her 3 rooms which was really very tight - nowhere to hang clothes or put luggage. Most rooms in riads are small but make sure you book the bigger options with Fatima.
