Riad Le Patio De Fes

Beautiful traditional Riad, perfect place to explore the Medina, very helpful staff.

Pros: Wonderful traditional Riad in the middle of the Medina. Easy to access. Comfortable beds and nicely decorated rooms. Perfect view from the terrace across the entire Medina. Very friendly and supportive staff.

Cons: ;) you need to be little fit to climb the stairs

Pros: It’s five stars. That’s not the location which is brilliant. Or the decor, which is stunning. It’s for the welcome of the host, kind and generous. I can’t wait to go back.

Cons: The location is superb and the tile work is breathtaking.

You can be satisfied that u will get clean room, and help in any situation.

Pros: This is very clean and comfortable riad. The owner Yusuf is extremely friendly and helpful. I got unwell during my stay and he took me to doctor, helped to buy medicine. They have a wonderful terrace with a good view, the riad itself is very authentic and beautifully decorated, also they make delicious mint tea.

Pros: Great service! We booked last minute and arrived late in the evening and the taxi was waiting at the airport. Good breakfest Riad is old and traditional next time i will stay longer.

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Katum makes the best Moroccan tea!

We had a great stay and learnt a lot about the old Medina and life in Fes.

Pros: The breakfast was delicious , the coffee nice and hot and the right strength, the baguette one of the best we have tasted , local egg and honey , croissant , minted tea as an option . The Riad was 14 century and the decor was incredible, a big thank you to Youssef for arranging a guide and a big thank you to Osama for helping us with bags, bus tickets , restaurants and of course the delicious breakfasts.

Amazing!

Pros: The Riad’s interior is just incredibly beautiful, and there is a beautiful terrace with the view on the whole city. The stuff was so nice! I was staying with my Moroccan boyfriend which sometimes can be an issue, but we only received kindness and respect.

Cons: Although it’s located very very centrally, the street leading to the Riad is a tiny bit sketchy. If you are travelling with someone that would not be an issue at all, but as as a solo female traveller I would maybe look for a less “hidden” place.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Patio de Fes. The Riad was absolutely stunning.

Pros: Yusef was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Riad was very clean and our bed was comfortable.

Cons: The shower wasn’t great and took a long time to drain. But it did have good pressure.

A palace in the Medina.

Pros: THe host Youssef always made sure we were taken care of and did his best to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the rooms spacious. The Riad itself is practicaly a palace.

Cons: A bit hard to reach without a guide, but would recommend visiting Fes with a guide anyway.

Homely comfortable stay on a budget in the Medina

Pros: Youseff and the staff of the Riad were very friendly and welcoming for the duration of my husband and I’s 3 night stay. I particularly appreciated that Youseff picked us up from the Medina and brought us to the Riad because the roads are a bit of a maze in the old city. The staff also assisted with directions to the best cafes and fruit market stalls in the Medina. The kitchen is also available for guest use. I stayed in the Fassi and the room was quite comfortable. The hot water and water pressure in the bathroom were amazing which I appreciated because it was quite cold in Fes in December. Overall, I found the staff quite attentive and helpful.

Cons: Loved everything about this Riad except the rooms are not soundproof so sounds in the common area can be heard in the rooms. I recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
