Best place to stay in Fes
Pros: It’s new and beautifully renovated. Spacious rooms and shower amenities and new AC working ( which is usually not the case in other riads) This was the best riad experience I had in whole month in Morocco Breakfast was fresh, filling and generous The guidence how to find riad was very clear. Issam was the wonderfull host and I could not recommend this place more
Cons: Everything was perfect

Great Riad, felt very welcomed and supported, very central, amazing staff.
Pros: Super central in the Medina, beautiful interior, amazing communication with the host, really kind staff - made us feel very welcome and helped whenever they could.
Cons: The drain in the bathroom smelled a bit. Also it sometimes got a little cold in the room.

Amazing traditional riad with beautiful rooms
Pros: Such a beautiful and newly renovated riad. All the rooms are different and all (several that I saw) were beautifully designed and decorated. It gives a sense of calm being there. I had the room on the highest floor that was probably the quietest and had windows to the outside, I really liked staying there. The riad is off the street a bit, so anyway there is not much noise. Air con worked pretty good to warm the room. The breakfast is amazing, and they adjusted it a little to my liking. The coffee is one of the best I had in Morocco. Could also use the kitchen to warm up water for tea. Location is great in the heart of the Medina, and was easy to find because the manager sent me a “walking to the location” video so I don’t get lost. Super helpful.
Cons: The rooms on the ground floor are extremely dark (they only have wooden doors towards the patio). It is also very cold in the patio (in winter). To nitpick - the terrace doesn’t have the best view, but you can always go for a drink to another rooftop ;) What I didn’t like and left a bit of an unpleasant feel is one of the managers asking me 3-4 times to leave a great review, even in the middle of my stay. Not necessary and not so customer friendly. Still, I liked the place a lot and it deserves a 10/10 :)

Pros: Hamza is an incredibly welcoming host, very knowledgeable about the city and the Riad is a historic treasure of great beauty itself. As others have pointed out, therefore, it is a first stop of authentic history in Fes. It is well located in the Medina and the rooms are freshly renovated, clean and modern. The breakfast that is included is tasty and fresh (ingredients from the Souks!). I highly recommend it.
Cons: Perhaps not so easy to find but everyone should manage.

Hidden gems in fes
Pros: The space is extremely clean, the host (hamza) is incredibly available and polite. The building is 600 years old so being there is already a piece in the process of discovering fes. Nice and abbundant breakfast.
