Nice place with ample parking
Pros: Parking is right in front of the door. The family who chevked us in is very warm and sweet. They let us park our car even after we checked out.
Cons: The medina is a bit of a walk but you get hastle free parking so no complains

Enjoyable and really welcoming
Pros: Communication was really good even before we arrived. I asked for a taxi and the staff met us at the train station, arranged our taxi and brought us back to the riad. They were really friendly and always had lots of suggestions on things we could do. The rooms were really clean, with aircon and seating space. The downstairs area was lovely and airy. Breakfast was different every day but always generous and delicious. It was served up on the top floor. There was also the option to have dinner at night, which was great, especially on our first night, after a long journey. On our last night, they went the extra mile to ensure we had our taxi back to the train, bringing the phone up to our room so that we could confirm all the details. The photos on the site don't do this riad justice - it is really beautiful on the inside!
Cons: They arranged a guide for us to visit the medina. The guide was very nice but it would have been better if he'd asked us about areas of the medina we were interested in - artisan workshops/the local womens' cooperative - rather than automatically taking us on his set route. Also, it would have been better if he had been less hurried - it felt as though we were racing from one destination to the other, rather than actually getting to soak up the sights and atmosphere of the medina

Pros: The hotel is an authentic Moroccan road with a long history, unique look and antique furniture and decorations. Located in walking distance from the Fes tanneries and old medina. The host is a nice guy helping in with any questions and is a good communicator. We forgot an item in the room we stayed in and he managed to pass it from Fes to Agadir our next stay. Thanks a lot for assistance again! Cannot forget mentioning Fatima who is very helpful and serves a very nice breakfast.

Beautiful room, amazing views, wonderful staff team.
Pros: Beautiful building and apartments/rooms and stunning views from the roof. The most welcoming of staff who made us feel immediately at home. Very good communication throughout, a great breakfast that set us up nicely for the day. Parking at the door was ideal and just a couple of narrow streets from a main road. The immediate area is great for local street markets til well into the evenings and the Medina that tourists may be looking for is accessible in under 10 mins. Some have suggested the local area is a bit dodgy, our thoughts are that it’s catering for locals and that it may be different to expectations. We felt safe throughout with teens in tow and found some very good (and cheap) food within a few mins.
Cons: The map via booking.com was incorrect, however the one given via WhatsApp was spot on. My mistake was not to double check it directly in advance, but it was easily sorted when I made contact - definitely not a fault of the property, I mention it just to help others. Bathroom needs a bit of work.

A great stay in Fez!
Pros: We stayed at this hotel in Fez for 2 nights. It was perfectly located outside the medina, giving us the peace and quiet to relax, and offering us the chance to explore the medina when we wanted to. The room we had was on the ground floor and was a great size. The team were so kind and attentive. The breakfast had a good selection of tasty Moroccan and French bakery products, eggs and a selection of jams.
Cons: We had an issue with the bathroom flooding. The team were so kind to clean it up for us and routinely checked on it for us to ensure the issue did not repeat itself.

Nice place
Pros: Great place to stay. The room was beautiful and the staff was very helpful. Good breakfast and the view from the terrace was amazing. Close to Medina, you can go by walk in 10 minutes.
Cons: The WiFi could run better in the room.
