Pros: The whole experience exceeded our expectations, a real oasis in the madness of the old medina. The staff were excellent and the riad renovated with amazing skill by the owners who were lovely and very proud to show off there place.

Cons: Car parking was a cosiderable walk from the riad. To be expected for the location within the old medina.

Pros: The property is absolutely stunning, the rooms are cosy (though smaller than other riads I stayed in) and the hired staff were wonderful. The masseuse is also exceptional.

Cons: There was a mistake with the ordering of my taxi to the station which is fine- these things happen and the hired staff immediately organised another one and I managed to get there in the nick of time. What I didn’t appreciate was being blamed by the owner of the riad for this. She was rude, assumed I’d given them the wrong time and left in a huff without saying goodbye. Not ideal service at all! The Moroccans who worked there, however, were brilliant and lovely.

Pros: This riyad is an oasis in the medina. We needed help booking a day trip and they phoned the winery for us and organised the driver. Very comfortable rooms

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Hanael Garden and Spa! The whole place feels magical — beautifully decorated, calm, and full of Moroccan charm. Our room was super clean and comfortable, and the courtyard with the pool is just stunning. Breakfast was delicious every morning (fresh juice, fruit, pastries, everything you could wish for!), and dinner was just as amazing. The staff are the kindest people — always smiling, helpful, and making sure we had everything we needed. We truly felt at home here and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fez! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable! 💛

Beautiful and relaxing riad, nice hosts and good breakfast.

Pros: Beautiful, tranquil riad that felt like a paradise in the middle of Fes. It had nice rooftop views, and offered Hammam and massages within the riad. Breakfast was nice and hosts were accommodating. Rooms were nicely decorated and dressing gown and slippers provided.

Cons: As it was close to the tannery, sometimes you could smell it a little. The road was a little further away from more popular restaurants which meant we had to get taxis or 25 mins walk for dinner.

We would stay at this beautiful riad again.

Pros: This accomodation was lovely, our suite was comfortable and beautifully furnished. We were so well looked after by Hanna and her lovely mum, we especially enjoyed our breakfast’s and Hammam.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

Riad Hanael is the best place to start your immersion and discovery of Fès.

Pros: It was my first visit to Fès and it was an absolute perfect trip. The Riad has been renovated beautifully, with an outstanding garden, spa are and pool. Each room and suite has its own individual touch to it. It was lovely to have dinner at night in what felt like a calm oasis. The Riad is located at the top of the old Medina, which allows you to reach the Chouara tannery and Seffarine place in just 2-3 minutes. I especially want to thank my host, Wafa, who took me in like a friend/family right away. She took her time to show me around the city, giving me precious historical background informations of Fès and also connecting me to local artisans. While the entire city is simply a historical gem, it is the people that make it beautiful and once again you could feel Moroccan hospitality, generosity and true kindness. Thank you for making this experience truly valuable, immersive and unique, I could not have asked for a better trip and will be back!

Cons: I should have stayed longer to really appreciate all offerings of Riad Hanael and also to discover more of Fès besides the old Medina. Fès really is worth the travel and the newer parts of the town are worth visiting too!
