Riyad Al Atik

A beautiful stay in a riad that just needs better directions

Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, we felt very well taken care of during our stay, being welcomed with tea and lots of information about Fes, best way to haggle and also laundry service. Our airport driver cancelled last minute and they organised a ride for us. The bed was very very comfortable, and the location was right in the medina on a quiet street. The riad itself is also very beautiful, and our room was spacious. The rooftop restaurant also had good food at a reasonable price, and you should definitely try the mint lemonade and lamb tagine!

Cons: We struggled to find the location of the hotel, and got very lost which was really stressful in a new city / country and there was no phone number on WhatsApp to contact the riad for help. We dined at a local restaurant and one of the workers walked us to the riad but better signage and communication would have been great. Also would have been nice to be able to pay with card.

Pros: So much effort on the details,it feels like you are walking through a museum ♥️Lovely staff ,great cuisine and warm spacious rooms.

Fès un endroit magique beaucoup de beaux endroits à visiter

Prachtige plek!

Pros: Prachtig gebouw, aardig personeel, goed ontbijt. Fijne locatie. De kamer lag aan een mooi dakterras waar je heerlijk kon zitten.

Cons: De kamer was muf en de badkamer stonk jammer genoeg naar riool. Het water in de douchebak liep ook niet weg.

Grote aanrader om te verblijven als je in Fez bent.

Pros: Heel vriendelijk personeel. Prachtig dakterras. Leuke kookworkshop gedaan! Kamer en badkamer waren lekker ruim. Goede beschrijving gekregen hoe bij de riad te komen. Goede locatie dichtbij de hoofdstraat van de medina.

Cons: De douche deed het alleen goed als je hem in je hand hield, anders kwam er bijna geen straal uit. Ze gebruiken twee namen voor de riad, wat het een beetje onduidelijk maakt.

Pros: Il Riyad è un'oasi di pace nel cuore della Medina di Fes, la struttura oltre a essere bellissima è anche estremamente pulita, con un meraviglioso cortile e una terrazza per gli ospiti che offrono quiete e intimità. Amin ci ha accolti con calore e ci ha subito fatti sentire a casa. Se dovessi ripassare per Fes, saprei dove alloggiare!

Pros: El trato muy cercano , los desayunos están riquísimos. Y nos ayudaron en todo, incluso nos imprimieron las tarjetas de embarque.
