Riad 9 Fez

Pros: I really liked the atmosphere of the interior. The roof terrace was really beautiful and relaxing after a stroll in the medina.

Pros: Absolutely stunning Riad - incredibly special place to stay. Beautiful fountain in the communal courtyard and adored the views from the terrace. Very well located for good access to souks made Fez surprisingly easy to navigate. We were warmly welcomed by Ataka who also gave great advice on places to eat and visit, plus made beautiful breakfasts.

Pros: This Riad is a real surprise, as many places in Morocco it is almost not recognisable from outside. The inner courtyard ist beautifully decorated and has a burbling fountain, the rooftop is amazing with a wonderful view over the entire city of Fès. Abundant moroccan breakfast. Located in the middle of the medina, about 15 minutes walk from the Blue Gate (Bab Bou Jeloud).

Cons: The rooms on the first floor don't really have a window on the street, which makes them quite dark, if you plan to stay in the room during the day.

Pros: Excellent breakfast, very good location, great hostess.

Cons: Lack of decent reading lights. Could have done with a chair in the bedroom.

Pros: Accueil chaleureux d'Atika, gérante du Riad. Décoration authentique et raffinée. Calme. Petit déjeuner en terrasse au soleil.

Excellent séjour d'une semaine, que nous recommendons

Pros: Le Riad est très bien placé, très joli et intimiste, un vrai plaisir. les chambres sont très jolies, délicatement décorées. le personnel (merci pour tout Atika) est vraiment au petit soin, nous aide pour tous les problèmes rencontrées, et nous prépare le petit déjeuner et le thé parfaitement. Nous recommandons vivement.

Superbe Riad à la déco authentique

Pros: Nous avions envie depuis longtemps de séjourner dans un Riad. Nous n'avons pas été déçus par celui-ci. La décoration et l'ambiance sont très réussies. La logeuse est très sympathique et prévenante. Elle prépare des petits déjeuners excellents. Le résultat est que l'on a l'impression d'être accueillis dans une famille, plutôt que dans un hôtel. C'est très agréable et franchement dépaysant.

Cons: L'authenticité du lieu est à la fois son avantage et son inconvénient: - les escaliers - d'origine - sont très raides, avec des marches irrégulières, ce qui peut poser des problèmes à certaines personnes ayant des problèmes de mobilité, - le confort (literie, sanitaires ) est tout-à-fait correct mais peut-être pas au niveau d'un hôtel du même niveau de prix, - le riad est pratiquement impossible à trouver sans guide ou gps.

Pros: la décoration de ce riad est devtrès bon goût tout en étant authentique, Attika qui est la fée du Riad est tellement sympa et prévenant qu’on se sent comme à la maison
