A calm and restful experience

Pros: We booked the Ouarzazate Room and it was very large and comfortable. Omar was delightful and Neruda’s baking was outstanding as was the meal we had and the breakfasts. The Riad is in a terrific position for exploring Fes.

Cons: Because the room is on the ground floor and adjacent to the inner courtyard you can hear other guests when they come in or if they are sitting or dining in the courtyard but everything goes pretty quiet after 10pm at latest.

Charming riad with lovely staff in perfect medina location

Pros: Perfect location! Close to Batha to hail a taxi, in a relaxed non-touristy part of the medina, but still 10 minutes away from most attractions. Lovely staff! Omar is SO SWEET and funny, he made us feel at home. Nice food! The breakfast is good, and Nadia in the kitchen is a fantastic chef, it’s worth having a meal there during your stay (the meatball and eggs dish is awesome) Spacious room: We had a suite on the ground floor, which was enormous. The bed was among the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. The shower is very large and the water is hot.

Cons: If you want a big lie in, ask for a room upstairs. The rooms on the ground floor face the courtyard where people have breakfast.

Pros: Very nice building, thousand year hold very well kept Big, cosy, Comfortable and clean room Perfect location, silent, in the Medina but at the limit near parking and taxis Very good, varied and abundant breakfast We did not try dinner nor the SPA Welcoming and caring staff

Cons: Nothing! Suggestion: don’t fold used towels if they are still wet!

Beautiful Riad, excellently located, with warm and gracious staff

Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful, and went out of their way to assist me. The breakfast was out of this world - the best I have had in all of Morocco. The Riad itself was beautiful, and perfectly located - right next to the Medina, and easy to locate.

Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive at all times during our stay. Breakfast each morning in the centre of the historical riad was a great way to start the day!

Pros: Riad Dar Skalli was a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful, assisting us to navigate the markets. The accommodation itself is close enough to the markets to be super convenient, but far enough away (5min walk) for it to be quiet at night. The room is exactly as described in the pictures, a tasty breakfast was provided daily and we enjoyed tea on the roof terrace. Our room had air-conditioning, a warm shower, and a comfortable bed. Hind also arranged our airport transfers, which all worked very smoothly. I would highly recommend others stay here and I would be very happy to visit again.

Affordable luxury within part of a 14th century palace.

Pros: Affordable luxury within part of a 14th century palace. Amazing rooms, friendly staff, a good continental breakfast with eggs and fresh bread / pastries every morning. Situated on the edge of the Medina so good for Taxis, while within easy walking distance of all the sights of Fez. My wife had a massage in the Riad's own spa, we also enjoyed a very good meal that the Riad prepared one of the evenings. Highly Recommended, we will definitely go back when we return to Fez.

Enjoyable

Pros: The thing we appreciated most was the quality and the variety of the food both at breakfast and dinner. The bedroom was quite clean and the staff was kind.
