Le Grand Alcazar - Riad

Pros: Beautiful Riad with cozy rooms for the family. The staff was fantastic, helpful in every way from guiding us to a local restaurant to ensuring we were comfortable throughout.

Pros: Beautiful riad with beautifully decorated public areas - exactly what you'd envisage a Moroccan riad to be. Spacious courtyards, intricate plaster and tiling work. The friendliness of the staff was a big feature - particular thanks to Youssef and Yousra, who were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Good location within the Medina.

Cons: Our shower - good pressure and heat but tended to overflow. A relatively small gripe.

Lovely Riad in prime location

Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful organising a shuttle to the airport and great tour guide for the city. The riad itself was beautiful and the rooftop terrace a bonus!

Pros: The location was convenient with just a simple 5-10 min walk to the blue gate. The riad was beautifully traditional yet luxury and chic. The riad was very clean and excellently priced, the staff were so friendly and attentive. Our room was really nicely designed with all the amenities you would want. The breakfast was excellent and extensive. Would definitely recommend a stay here. The main areas were beautiful and the staff were just excellent

Pros: The historic value of the Riad, it is truly beautiful and very well located.

Cons: There is no soundproofing as the Riad maintains its original structure. This means you will hear everything and everyone will hear you.

Very authentic stay in a very beautiful riad in the heard of the Medina.

Pros: Very authentic experience in the heart of the Medina.

Cons: Some small details, like the door key being hard to manipulate.

Pros: We’ve had a very nice stay at Le Grand Alcazar Riad. This riad is old original style and located in Fez medina, but very well renovated and preserved. We’ve booked a big room which was very clean, A/C worked , they have even a small pool to cool down after hot day walk. Staff was very friendy and hospitable. Service is exceptional. Yousuf and Muhamed help me and my family to find good restaurants and other places arround, Muhamed even walked together to make sure we will find places and we will reach back our riad safely in the evening. By the way, the food served in this riad is one of the best in town, so make sure to order dinner here as well. Breakfast was also great. You can order food any time.

Lovely facility, great location and staff

Pros: Staff great very friendly. Professional and accommodating. Facility very nice.

Cons: Everything was great only small thing was shower head wouldn't stay in place on wall so had to continually hold the head during showers.

Must stay in Fes!

perfect riad to stay at the fes medina

Pros: Me and my family stayed at grand alcazar for 4 days and it was perfect. The location (very close to one street we car can pass), the beautiful riad and the staff (thank you Yousra) were great. The room accommodate me, my husband and our 4 year old twins perfectly. The breakfast was very good also, with moroccan breads, jam, honey, almond paste and omelete or scrambled eggs…they served kids yogurt for my children. And Yousra helped us with booking a tour guide, making reservations for visiting a winery in meknes and gave us restaurants recommendations . The only appointment i should do is about the bathroom, the shower area was small an and the lighting was poor.
