Authentic Charm, Great Location & Wonderful Service

Pros: Our stay at the riad was truly wonderful. The interior is absolutely stunning. One big advantage is that taxis can reach very close to the property, which is not always the case with many riads located deep inside the medina. Ibrahim took excellent care of us throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious, with slight variations each day that kept it interesting and enjoyable. Since we arrived late in the evening, we arranged the airport shuttle service and pre-ordered dinner — everything was handled very professionally. We also ordered a few additional meals at the restaurant during our stay, and the food was consistently very good.

Pros: I would readily recommend this riad. Ibrahim is very good and polite person, who pays attention to every guest. The ambiance was amazing, the room was clean, spacious, warm and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. And even more. When we had a problem with another reservation, we returned to Riad Sara. The rooms were sold out, but Ibrahim helped us to find another very good riad to stay a night at.

Beautiful Riad at a great location

Pros: Riad Sara was one of the most beautiful Riads I stayed in Morocco - the central courtyard was just awesome and the room was big with comfortable seating arrangements and a lovely four poster bed. The location was excellent as well - a short walk from the medina and any parking places. The service was amazing with the team being super considerate and flexible …

Oasis of calm, steps away from the chaos of the souks

Pros: Good location near old Medina souks, friendly, personable staff, gorgeous restored Riad. We had a late arrival and they sent us the menu so we could pre order dinner our first night. They also sent a car to pick us up from the airport (20 Euros)- would have been very hard to find if they hadn’t! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pros: The location is very good , close to the souks but also close to a road access so you don’t have to go far with your luggage. Staff very helpful and kind; lovely breakfasts and soups! Stunningly beautiful inside with lovely rooms and courtyard

Cons: Everything was fine until our last morning when there was a hitch over our taxi booked to Chefchaouen. In the end we found the right taxi so it all worked out

Would love to go back!

Pros: The riad is as beautiful as the pictures show. Very clean, quiet, bright, and facilities all went well. The location is close to Blue Gate which is easy to find and you won't get lost. We stayed in total three nights in two different rooms there, enjoyed delicious dinner directly at the atrium on the first day as we arrived in the evening. The breakfast also changed a bit every day. Said and the staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire trip in Fes. They quickly answered all our questions and requests and made our stay in Fes even more wonderful and colorful. Fes is beyond our expectations and become our favorite city in Morocco.

Pros: Riad Sara is one of the most beautiful places to stay in the Medina. It’s like living inside a palace. We were welcomed with mint tea and delicious afternoon tea biscuits, and from there, we stayed in a beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable room. We had a wonderful stay, and were within walking distance to the sites and eateries.

Cons: We would have liked to be given bottled water throughout our stay. Moroccan water is safe to drink, but like many foreign travellers, I had a reaction caused by the micro bacterias.
