Good stay with a balcony

Pros: Book the room with the balcony - otherwise it will be too noisy from other guests! The staff tried to be helpful and provided us with everything we needed

Cons: Very cold inside, could see your breath during breakfast. The staff spoke limited English and the interactions were limited - we didn’t feel that warmth of hospitality as mentioned in other reviews. Quite an awkward slow service at breakfast - food comes first and gets cold before you get the plates to eat it

Pros: Great place to stay in Fes. Perfect location in the very beginning of Medina on the hill, easy to find. The staff are super people, ready to help in any question. Highly recommend to order dinners in the hotel - they cook fabulous, and will acquaint you with local meals in a proper way. We boooked two rooms. The big one with a balcony is beyond all praise. The smaller one was nice but bit noisy couse of other guests. Anyway, it's an excellent riad-style variant to spend time in Fes.

Pros: Wonderful stay in room with private balcony with unique panoramic view. Haytam and Halima did everything to make my stay in this just renovated Riad unforgettable. Great shower as well!

Cons: It takes about a 15 minute walk to get to the main street in the medina, but it is worth it!

Beautiful guest house

Pros: The room and guest house were just stunning. You're very close to the city gate, so parking was easy, inexpensive, and less than a two-minute walk away. We liked the neighbourhood and the nearby facilities, but the hospitality made our stay: both the owner and Nezra were extremely welcoming and kind. Breakfasts were delicious and fun (thank you for all the Arabic lessons!), they had good recommendations on what to see and do, and overall just made us feel relaxed and welcome. We booked a city guide through the guest house for one morning, which we enjoyed as well - the guide obviously knew his stuff, but also kindly tailored the tour to our interests. Thank you!

Cons: On the first night, there was a bit of an odd smell coming from the shower. When I mentioned it the next morning, they instantly looked into it, and it was fine afterwards. But I highly appreciated their immediate offer that if it still bothered me, we could, of course, change to a different room.

Great stay with great host Nazha

Pros: Very easy to find as it’s close to the main road. And a great host called Nazha who really takes the time to make you feel welcome.

A beautiful and friendly place to stay.

Pros: Nezha was a superb hostess, very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were freshly prepared each day, and one night I enjoyed a delicious home cooked feast. The Riad is a beautiful, traditional building, well maintained and very clean. I was made to feel like it was my home. The location is near the entrance to the medina, which made access quite easy. Super views from the terrace. At night it was really quiet.

Pros: Most welcoming and kind owners, the Riad is beautiful, very clean and it's located at the part of the city where you can reach the center quickly, it's quiet and has a public parking within 5 minutes walking distance. We enjoyed our stay for two nights visiting often the roof top terrace for a snack or coffee but with a spectacular view

Freundliche, hilfsbereite Besitzer, Haus mit charmanter Atmosphäre

Pros: Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück wurde extra für uns und zu der von uns gewünschten Uhrzeit vorbereitet und war reichhaltig und frisch. Das Haus ist sehr schön und charmant, das Zimmer zwar ein bisschen klein, hat aber alles, was man benötigt. Das Haus liegt in einer engen Gasse, aber in der Nähe gibt es einen Parkplatz (ca. 3 Euro pro Nacht). Durch die Lage ist das Haus sehr ruhig, was ebenfalls angenehm ist.

Great stay

Pros: Excellent communication and responsiveness from Haytam and the team from the very beginning until the end of my stay, despite my late arrival. The room was great, with a lovely terrace and daily cleaning. The riad is perfectly located, far enough from the heart of the medina to remain calm and quiet, yet close enough to enjoy everything within a 10-minute walk. Breakfast was great as well.
